The North Simcoe OHT is focused on improving how people access health care and support in our community. We are working together to make care more connected, patient-centered, and closer to home.
The North Simcoe OHT is currently working on the below priorities.

Palliative Care Working Group
The Palliative Care Working Group focuses on improving access, quality, and timeliness of palliative care services in our community. Aligned with the goals of the North Simcoe OHT, this group develops and implements initiatives that enhances palliative care services, and ensures individuals and families receive compassionate, coordinated, and person-centered care.
Equitable Health and Wellness Working Group
The Equitable Health and Wellness Working Group is committed to improving access to fair and inclusive healthcare services for everyone in our community. Aligned with the goals of the North Simcoe OHT, this group develops and implements initiatives that address barriers to care and promote health equity. By working with healthcare providers and community partners, they strive to create a system where all individuals, regardless of background or circumstance, can receive the support and services they need to achieve their best health.


Mental Health
and Addictions Working Group
The Mental Health and Addictions Working Group is dedicated to improving access, quality, and timeliness of mental health and addictions services in our community. Aligned with the goals of the North Simcoe OHT, this group develops and implements initiatives that enhance care coordination and support for individuals and families.
Integrated Seniors Care Working Group
The Integrated Seniors Care Working Group leads the development and implementation of programs that improve how seniors receive care across North Simcoe. Their goal is to create a seamless and coordinated system that supports seniors in accessing the right care, at the right time, in the right place, and enhances the health and well-being of older adults in our region.
